Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Orthoptist to join our team. You will assess, diagnose and manage ocular motility and visual development disorders, supporting children's visual development and adults with double vision, neurological conditions and visual impairment.

The role offers variety, ongoing professional development and a structured preceptorship for newly qualified orthoptists, with mentoring and opportunities to work across King’s Mill Hospital, Ashfield

Qualifikationen

• Orthoptics, Ophthalmology and Neurology knowledge required.
• BMedSci orthoptic degree or DB0/DBO or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is expected for ongoing training.

Aufgaben

• Support patients across paediatric and adult cases, including double vision.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals on treatment plans.
