Job summary

Circle Health Group Bath Clinic is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join the Theatre department. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £44,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will have theatre scrub experience and appropriate registration (NMC/HCPC) and will support the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. They will ensure sterility, instrument preparation, patient safety, and collaboration with the

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC) registration.
• Theatre experience in scrub, anaesthetics or recovery.
• Infection control and patient safety knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments, maintain sterility, anticipate surgeon needs.
• Assist anaesthetist with equipment, monitoring, airway management, discharge prep.
• Set up theatres per surgery type and patient requirements.
• Check equipment for faults and report issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for safe surgical lists.
• Support a positive, respectful theatre environment.
