Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and maintain sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist the anaesthetist with equipment prep, monitoring and positioning.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor vital signs, pain and nausea.
• Adhere to infection prevention policies at all times.
• Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and patient needs.
• Check equipment prior to use and report faults.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe lists.
