Job summary

Spire Liverpool Hospital is seeking an experienced Perioperative Practitioner to join the theatres team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on Scrub duties in orthopaedics, with no night shifts and a Band 6 dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• You must be a qualified Nurse or ODP with experience in Scrub.
• Valid NMC or HCPC pin with no conditions or restrictions.
• Experience in Orthopaedic Scrub is essential.
• SFA experience is desirable.
• Anaesthetic and Recovery experience is desirable.
• Previous theatre/surgical experience.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with consultants.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Consultant-led surgeries varying in complexity.
• Provide exemplary patient care and perform Scrub duties in theatre.
• Support in assessing patient health across a complex caseload.
• Develop care plans aligned with pathways and perioperative risks.
• Promote best practice and contribute to quality improvements.
