We are seeking an enthusiastic OD Co-ordinator to join our Organisational Development team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of learning and organisational development activity across the University.
Working as part of an experienced and supportive HR team, you will provide high-quality administration and co-ordination across a wide range of learning and development activities, including training, mentoring, staff engagement and induction programmes. You will help ensure learning opportunities are well organised, accessible and delivered effectively, supporting the smooth running of the University’s annual learning and development programme.
As a key point of contact for managers and staff, you will provide advice and guidance on learning and development processes and procedures, coordinate training events and logistics, and maintain learning and development information on our intranet pages. You will also support online and compliance training, HR and learning systems, reporting and evaluation, as well as supplier and financial processes.
The role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the University and contribute to projects and continuous improvement activity that enhance the learning and organisational development service.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in learning and organisational development. You'll be comfortable working across a varied workload, managing competing priorities and ensuring that learning and development activity is delivered smoothly and efficiently.
You'll have experience of working in an HR, OD or L&D environment and be confident providing advice and guidance to managers and staff. You'll have strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience of coordinating events, maintaining accurate records and using HR or learning systems to manage and report on information.
You'll be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external providers. You'll enjoy working collaboratively, sharing information and supporting colleagues, while also being able to work independently and take ownership of your work.
You'll have a practical and solution-focused approach, with an eye for detail and an interest in finding ways to improve processes and services. You'll also be comfortable working with digital and e-learning tools and using data to support reporting and decision‑making.
The HR Function provides the strategy and infrastructure to enable Kingston University to achieve its core purpose.
The successful candidate will be joining an experienced and talented team of HR professionals who deliver HR operations, strategy and design for its 3k strong employee base.
The HR team works in partnership with academics and professional services staff to achieve the overall plans for the University.
Our professionals give high level support across the University along with responding to day‑to‑day queries from all areas and staff. In addition, they ensure our policies and procedures provide suitable frameworks to enable staff to operate successfully during their employment at Kingston University.

This role is advertised as a full time, permernantrole with a starting salary of £34,007 per annum. Interviews will be held on the 22nd October.
