Organisational Development Business Partner

We have an exciting opportunity within Sue Ryder’s People Directorate for a dedicated and driven Organisational Development Business Partner to join the team.
Working with managers, teams, employees and volunteers across Sue Ryder to influence and facilitate the culture development change programme this role plays an integral part in the building of values and behaviours across the organisation.
About the role (for full Job Description, please see attachments):
· Lead or Manage projects linked to the Culture Development Programme including the planning of time, resources and costs associated with events linked to these projects.
· Lead or Manage projects to develop capability across the organisation.
· Lead or Chair working / focus groups to support projects.
· Conduct organisational development needs analysis including a full stakeholder report and handover to relevant party, with feedback and recommendations for action.
· Design and delivery of interventions to meet organisational development needs in line with our strategic goals.
· Conduct training or engagement events including conferences, face to face training, virtual training, focus groups, coaching etc.
· Work with learning and development team to produce the organisational recognition awards – the VIP Awards.
· When necessary, support ‘Teams in Crisis’ across the organisation.
· Support in the Delivery of the Sue Ryder annual organisational survey – Let’s Talk and delivery of results to teams and high-risk areas.
· Determine KPIs and fundamental metrics associated with key projects and a regular reporting pattern.
· Define outcomes for interventions and measure their short and long-term impact and value.
· Keep up to date with developments by building external networks and knowledge.
About you:
· Knowledge and experience of what a positive culture looks and feels like, with understanding of change management approaches and their advantages / disadvantages.
· Experience of delivering management and leadership development interventions driven out of organisation development and change.
· Knowledge and experience of the employee journey and how other people practices impact their work.
· Experience of different ways of learning and different approaches to professional development, enabling others to be their best at work through developing their skills and capabilities.
· Knowledge and experience of working alongside the key EDI issues in an organisation (or Sue Ryder) and how to raise awareness of these.
· Knowledge and experience of how to integrate the wellbeing of others in the design and delivery of their work.
· Experience of different models of training, facilitation, consulting, coaching and mentoring with the ability to coach and advise others in the business.
· Experience of how to develop team relationships and ways of working to enable performance.
· Experience of using proven tools and methods to give a diverse range of people the opportunity to be heard.
· Experience of facilitating joint-working across teams, disciplines and functions.
· Knowledge of Organisational Development & Design consulting processes and methods and how to apply them.
· Knowledge and experience of how to define the learning capability needs of individuals and teams, demonstrated through a Training Needs Analysis and/or gap analysis.
· Strong networking skills and the ability to source and apply best practice from other organisations.
· Event management experience.
· Knowledge of how people practices impact on behaviour, culture, structure and systems.
· Knowledge and experience of data and analytics can be used and communicated to resolve People and OD issues.
Desirable:
· Specific Organisational Development qualification & membership of CIPD.
· Coaching qualification.
For this role you will be willing and able to have a flexible approach to working and undertake ad hoc UK wide travel.
