Job summary

Buro Happold in Bath is seeking an experienced Order to Cash (O2C) Transformation Manager to lead a major finance transformation across our international business. You will design, implement and embed new O2C processes, with a focus on billing, invoicing, cash application and reporting.

As part of the Finance Transformation team, you will manage current-state discovery, engage senior stakeholders, coordinate SIT/UAT and drive adoption to BAU. Hybrid working from the Bath office is supported.

This person can be based in our Bath office on a hybrid working model.

We are looking for an experienced Order to Cash (O2C) Transformation Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to play a key role in driving this change. Working as part of our Finance Transformation team, you will lead the delivery of O2C transformation workstreams, helping to design, implement and embed new ways of working across our global regions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance transformation professional who enjoys working at the intersection of process improvement, systems implementation, stakeholder engagement and change management.

About The Role

As O2C Transformation Manager, you'll support the delivery of a large-scale transformation programme focused on improving and standardising our Order to Cash processes.

You'll work closely with Finance, Shared Services, Operational Excellence, IT, Digital teams and regional stakeholders to:

• Lead current-state process discovery, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing, invoicing, cash application, collections, dispute management and reporting processes.
• Support the design and implementation of future-state processes and controls.
• Translate business requirements into practical system and workflow enhancements.
• Coordinate testing activities including SIT and UAT, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
• Support deployment readiness, cutover planning, go-live activities and post-implementation support.
• Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures and training materials.
• Deliver change management activities that drive user engagement and adoption.
• Track programme progress, risks, issues and dependencies, providing updates to key stakeholders.
• Support the successful transition of new processes into business-as-usual operations.

About You

You'll bring experience delivering finance transformation, process improvement or systems implementation initiatives, along with a strong understanding of the end-to-end Order to Cash cycle.

You’ll also have:

• Experience working across billing, invoicing, cash application, collections, credit control and related finance processes.
• Proven ability to engage and influence both senior stakeholders and operational teams.
• Experience mapping, documenting and implementing business processes across complex organisations.
• Knowledge of ERP or finance system implementations, including requirements gathering, testing and deployment activities.
• Experience coordinating user acceptance testing, issue resolution and implementation readiness activities.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams and regions.

We’d be particularly interested if you have:

• Experience delivering O2C transformation programmes in an international, multi-entity or professional services environment.
• Experience of ERP rollouts and regional deployments.
• Knowledge of finance shared services environments.
• Experience working with workflow, billing, credit-control or reporting systems.
• Relevant qualifications in finance, project management, change management or process improvement.
