Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Thetford is seeking an Order Picker to join the Despatch team. This role works days from 6am to 6pm on a 4 on 4 off rotation, with an hourly rate of £13.68 to £15.05. You will pick orders, wrap items, and ensure accurate stock control for on-time deliveries.

Key tasks include scanning barcodes, updating inventory, loading vehicles, and maintaining safety standards. Previous warehouse experience is helpful, but basic English and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Basic English language or willing to learn.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Basic H&S Training.
• Basic Food safety training.
• Ability to lift crates up to 20 kg.
• Problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collecting orders to fulfill deliveries.
• Picking out ordered items from storage using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.;
• Securely shrink-wrapping items before dispatching.
• Operating handling equipment according to H&S regulations.
• Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved.
• Managing stock control (first in first out).
• Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.
• Hit target of picked cases (2-3k per person).
• Vehicle loading/unloading manually/with manual pump truck/powered pallet truck.
