Job summary

Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot is seeking an Online Assistant to join our Online Warehouse team. You will process online orders, pick and pack products, and maintain stock records, collaborating to meet KPI targets and ensure efficient order fulfillment.

The role is fixed-term, full-time (37.5 hours/week), with Monday to Friday shifts, a rota’d day off each week, and alternate weekends. Prior warehouse experience and basic computer skills are desirable.

We are looking for a new Online Assistant to work in our Online Warehouse aiding in the picking and packing of our customers online orders, keeping up with KPI’s while working in a team to ensure everything is packed efficiently and in good time. Along with aiding in the day-to-day general administrative tasks within the department.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, keeping up with KPI’s.


• Pick, pack, and ship products, ensuring all items are correct and undamaged.


• Maintain accurate stock records.


• Book in deliveries to the warehouse and check goods against orders.


• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all stock is handled correctly and safely.


• Safely operate forklifts and other powered warehouse equipment where licensed or trained.


• Handle and lift heavy items at various stages of the picking/packing process.


• Perform general administrative tasks.


• Support other departments as required.


• Adhere to strict health and safety policies and regulations.


• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
