East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a manager within the Oral Health Improvement Team. The role focuses on planning and running evidence-based programmes to improve oral health and reduce inequalities, including supervised toothbrushing and staff training.

The post is highly autonomous yet part of the wider team, with responsibilities for evaluating outcomes and reporting to commissioners. Relevant degree and training experience are essential.

Formación

• Degree-level qualification in oral health, health improvement, public health or education, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Evidence of training or experience in delivering training, education or facilitated learning.
• Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate and deliver evidence-based oral health improvement programmes, including supervised toothbrushing.
• Deliver oral health training and workforce development to health, education, early years and social care staff.
• Support oral health improvement within adult social care, embedding evidence-based approaches in care practice.
• Build and maintain working relationships with the council, health and care services, education settings, care providers and voluntary groups.
• Monitor activity, outcomes and key performance indicators against contract requirements, keeping accurate records.
• Produce reports for commissioners and senior management.
• Audit and evaluate programmes using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Use current evidence and national guidance to target children, families and communities with poorer oral health.
• Work autonomously while contributing to the wider Oral Health Improvement Team.
