Job summary

East of England Community Health & Care NHS Trust is seeking an Oral Health Improvement Manager (part-time) to join the Oral Health Improvement Team. The role focuses on planning, delivering and evaluating evidence-based programmes across West Northamptonshire and reducing oral health inequalities.

You will lead supervised toothbrushing initiatives, deliver workforce development, and collaborate with local authorities, education, health and social care partners.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience working with partners across health, social care and education is desirable.
• A passion for prevention and reducing inequalities is important.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate a range of evidence-based oral health improvement programmes across West Northamptonshire.
• Deliver high-quality oral health training to health, education, and social care professionals and community partners.
• Support the development and delivery of oral health activity within adult social care with care providers and partner organisations.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with West Northamptonshire Council, health and care services, education and early years settings and other partners.
• Monitor programme activity and performance against KPIs and produce reports for commissioners and senior management.
• Undertake audit and evaluation using qualitative and quantitative methods to identify learning and inform service improvement.
