Job summary

VE3 is seeking an experienced Oracle Payroll Technical Consultant to support the development, configuration and integration of Oracle Payroll solutions within a secure client environment in the UK. The role requires hands-on payroll experience and current SC clearance.

You will collaborate with payroll specialists, business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into reliable, tested payroll solutions, while ensuring accuracy and security of sensitive employee data.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Payroll in Fusion Cloud or E-Business Suite.
• Strong SQL skills for reporting and reconciliation.
• UK payroll knowledge: PAYE, NI, pensions and HMRC reporting.
• Experience with interfaces, data loads and extracts.
• Current SC clearance and experience in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse payroll requirements and produce functional specs, technical designs and impact assessments.
• Configure and enhance Oracle Payroll, including payroll elements, balances, rules and fast formulas.
• Develop and maintain integrations between payroll, HR, finance and pensions.
• Build and support payroll reports, extracts, reconciliation outputs and controls.
• Investigate issues, data discrepancies and perform fixes with proper testing.
• Support data migration, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
• Coordinate unit and system integration testing and UAT support.
