Job summary

LA International is seeking a Principal Oracle Payroll Functional/Technical Consultant for remote work. The role combines functional and technical expertise to influence payroll solutions from initial design through to successful implementation.

Responsibilities include leading enhancements, gathering requirements, producing estimates, configuring systems, and guiding testing phases. Candidates should have UK payroll knowledge, Oracle Fast Formula experience, and CS clearance is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering Oracle Payroll solutions.
• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll.
• Experience of Oracle Fusion Cloud would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience writing and maintaining Oracle Fast Formulae.
• Understanding of Civil Service Terms and Conditions.
• Strong end-to-end knowledge of payroll lifecycle processes.
• Oracle Payroll certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Oracle Payroll enhancements, projects, and defect resolution activities.
• Gather requirements and perform impact assessments for customer change requests.
• Produce estimates and design effective payroll solutions.
• Configure Oracle Payroll systems and manage delivery through testing phases.
• Support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Develop and amend Oracle Fast Formulae within Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud Payroll.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions meet business requirements and compliance obligations.
