This is a fantastic opportunity to join a London-based local authority as an Oracle Fusion Specialist on an initial 6-month contract.

My client is a London borough council.

Description

The successful Oracle Fusion Specialist will be responsible for:

1. Assisting in identifying and correcting historical pay calculations by recalculating pay and deduction elements over possibly 3 years, and working closely with the current SI to identify and test absence and other system fixes on behalf of the payroll team.
2. Leading guidance and training for current payroll staff on identifying and testing pay or formula issues, providing detailed guidance notes on findings and proposed solutions.
3. Assisting the council's current project lead with automating the current pay uplift process.
4. Reviewing live payroll runs by working closely with the current payroll team to identify, report, and test fixes on behalf of the payroll team, and to confirm all findings back to the current SI in Brent.
5. Assisting with testing all proposed solutions against current reported payroll issues in Oracle Cloud. This role will sit between the current SI and the payroll team, working on behalf of the payroll team to get system fixes tested and resolved by providing live data for the payroll team sign-off.

Profile

The successful Oracle Fusion Specialist will possess significant demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within local government. Deep knowledge of payroll processes within Oracle Fusion is essential for success.

Job Offer

£350 - £400 per day, dependent on experience (rate to umbrella).
This role is inside scope of IR35.
