Job summary

Morson Group seeks an experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll Software Developer for a government programme in Bristol, onsite for three days a week. The role focuses on payroll development, integrations, calculations, and enhancements within Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll.

Active SC Clearance is essential for onboarding and delivery timelines. You will develop and support Fast Formula calculations, payroll logic, HDL/HSDL, and OIC integrations while collaborating with HR, payroll and tech teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required for immediate project onboarding.
• Hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll experience with payroll configuration.
• Experience building OIC integrations and working with HDL/HSDL data structures.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL development and BI/OTBI reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting Oracle Fusion Payroll functionality and integrations.
• Create and maintain Fast Formula calculations and payroll logic.
• Support payroll processing, runbooks and retrospective calculations.
• Design and develop OIC integrations with HCM data structures and extracts.
• Troubleshoot complex payroll and integration issues and collaborate across HR and IT.

We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll Software Developer to join a major government programme supporting business-critical payroll services and high-priority change across a large Oracle HCM environment.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on payroll development rather than reporting or dashboard creation. You’ll be responsible for developing and supporting payroll functionality, integrations, calculations and enhancements within Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll.

Please note that active SC Clearance is essential for this role and must already be in place due to the project’s onboarding timescales and immediate delivery requirements.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the ongoing development of Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions
• Developing and maintaining Fast Formula calculations and payroll logic
• Supporting payroll processing, payroll runbooks and retrospective payroll calculations
• Designing and developing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations
• Working with payroll elements, payroll tables and HCM data structures
• Developing and supporting HCM Extracts, HDL and HSDL solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex payroll and integration issues
• Collaborating with HR, Payroll and technical teams to deliver business-critical change
• Supporting testing, deployment and continuous improvement activities within a DevOps environment
