Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll Software Developer to join a major government programme in Bristol, working on payroll services within a large Oracle HCM environment. This hands-on role focuses on payroll development, calculations and integrations, with emphasis on Fast Formula and HDL/HSDL technologies.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is essential and must be in place.
• Strong Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll experience.
• Hands-on payroll configuration and development experience.
• Proficient with Fast Formula, HDL/HSDL and HCM Extracts.
• Experience with SQL and PLSQL development.
• OTBI/BI reporting knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex payroll and integration issues.
• Experience in large Oracle HCM environments or corporate/shared services.
• Knowledge of DevOps delivery practices in a public sector context.

Responsibilities

• Supporting ongoing development of Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions.
• Developing and maintaining Fast Formula calculations and payroll logic.
• Supporting payroll processing, runbooks and retrospective calculations.
• Designing and developing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.
• Working with payroll elements, tables and HCM data structures.
• Developing and supporting HDL/HSDL/Extracts.
• Troubleshooting complex payroll and integration issues.
• Collaborating with HR, Payroll and technical teams to deliver change.
• Supporting testing, deployment and DevOps activities.
