Job summary

British Airways PLC is seeking a seasoned People Systems Solution Lead to govern Oracle Fusion HCM and the HR technology landscape. You will shape roadmaps, translate business needs into scalable technology and lead governance across data, integrations and security within the People function.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, HRIS teams and cyber security to ensure compliant, future-ready solutions that deliver value while guiding projects and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within HR, People Systems, HRIS or enterprise technology environments supporting business and technology transformation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, governance and change impact across interconnected systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the solution architecture authority for Oracle Fusion HCM and the wider People Technology landscape.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure and integrated technology solutions across all areas of the People function.
• Translate business requirements into sustainable technology solutions that support objectives.
• Partner with Product Owners, HRIS teams and stakeholders to shape roadmaps and priorities.
• Own and govern architecture across the People Technology ecosystem.
• Assess and approve impact of changes across HR systems, data, integrations and downstream platforms.
• Govern introduction of new capabilities, aligning with objectives and cyber standards.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Technology Delivery, Data teams and suppliers.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to projects and partners.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduce complexity and minimise technical debt.
• Lead assessment of Oracle quarterly releases and alignment with roadmap.
• Monitor Oracle product evolution and AI opportunities to maximise value.
