Job description

Job Title: Oracle Cloud Payroll & HCM Consultant

Whitehall Resources are seeking an Oracle Cloud Payroll & HCM Consultant for a hybrid role, primarily remote, with 2 days per month in the West Midlands. This is an initial 6-month contract, inside IR35.

Job Description:

The Oracle Cloud Payroll & HCM Consultant will be responsible for delivering Payroll and HR functional support, configuring solutions, and supporting cloud transformation initiatives. The role also involves driving business growth within existing accounts and supporting wider cloud transformation projects.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Provide Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion payroll and HR query resolution.
2. Configure solutions in Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion for payroll and HR.
3. Collaborate with Oracle Service Requests (SRs) to guide resolution.
4. Configure Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion applications to meet client requirements and document setups.
5. Configure payroll fast formulas, element design, process flows, and calculation cards.
6. Draft business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and extensions.
7. Assist clients in preparing validation scripts and testing scenarios.
8. Support clients during testing and validate configurations and data.
9. Communicate project status and issues regularly to stakeholders.
10. Support payroll processing and share knowledge to improve implementation methodologies.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Implementation experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including Core HR, Global Payroll, and UK Payroll.
• Strong configuration skills in fast formulas, element design, and payroll processes.
• Expertise in Oracle Cloud Fusion Payroll module and integration with other modules like Recruitment, HR Core, Benefits, etc.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation, manual calculations, year-end processes, and external agency requirements such as RTI, BACS, and pensions.
