Job summary

Asda Swindon Haydon Opticians is seeking a fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) to join our busy in-store team. You will provide high-quality eye care and patient services, with support from the Dispensing Optician Manager and opportunities to gain NHS-related accreditations.

You will conduct eye examinations, contact lens services and extended service examinations, contributing to outstanding service levels and patient outcomes in a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
• Evidence of NHS performer list in the nation you wish to work in.
• MECs or WECs accreditation (or willing to gain within 12 months, funded by Asda).
• On track to meet CPD points requirements.
• Able to deliver high quality patient experiences and services.

Responsibilities

• Complete eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations.
• Collaborate with the Dispensing Optician Manager for training and coaching.
• Pursue additional accreditations relevant to NHS extended services.
