Job summary

Asda Opticians in Grimsby is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our team. You’ll conduct eye examinations, lens and contact lens services, and support our CPD-focused development path.

You’ll work with the Dispensing Optician Manager to uphold departmental standards and expand patient services, including NHS-linked care. You must be GOC-registered, with rights to work in the UK and a plan to meet CPD and WECS appear as needed.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
• On track to meet CPD points requirement.
• Willing to gain NHS-related accreditations within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations, contact lens and extended service assessments.
• Support the Dispensing Optician Manager with training and standards.
• Contribute to NHS extended care contracts and patient services.
