Job Title: Optometrist

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Optometrist to join our team at the Gateshead Warehouse. Role Responsibilities

1. Examine patients' eyes, conduct sight tests, and diagnose visual problems and eye diseases.
2. Prescribe and fit spectacles or contact lenses as needed.
3. Educate patients on eye care, including cleaning and wearing contact lenses.
4. Collaborate with other medical practitioners in managing patients with chronic ophthalmic conditions.
5. Engage in continuing education and professional development.
6. Manage staff, including dispensing opticians and clerical personnel.
7. Organize and plan the development of the practice.
8. Coordinate with vision care product suppliers.
9. Provide prompt, courteous service to members, employees, and vendors.
