Job Description:

We are seeking a Full or Part Time Optometrist to join our client, one of the leading Domiciliary Companies, in Carlisle and surrounding areas. The role offers flexibility to accommodate family and other commitments.

This is a Monday to Friday position, with no weekends required, and flexible scheduling options. The role involves visiting patients in their homes to perform comprehensive clinical tests and dispense eyewear. The ideal candidate should demonstrate empathy and a sympathetic approach, as some patients will be elderly and frail.

You will travel to various locations from your postal address, seeing approximately 6-7 patients per day. You will work with the latest mobile technology, including:

• Portable digital fundus cameras
• Mobile slit lamp
• I-care tonometer
• Industry-leading digital records system, providing support and second opinions from senior optometrists at the Head Office
