My Client, a leading Domiciliary Company, is seeking a full or part-time Optometrist in Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas. The role offers flexibility to accommodate family and other commitments, with no weekends required and flexible working days.

The position involves visiting patients at home to perform comprehensive eye examinations and dispense. Candidates should have a compassionate approach, especially as some patients may be elderly or frail. You will travel to various locations from your postal address, seeing approximately 6-7 patients daily.

You will utilize the latest mobile technology, including:

• Portable digital fundus cameras
• Mobile slit lamp
• I-care tonometer
• Industry-leading digital records system, enabling quick support or second opinions from senior optometrists at the Head Office.
