Job description

We are looking for an optometrist to work in our Bristol Avonmeads store.

This is a part-time position working on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. You will join a highly experienced team dedicated to providing excellent service to patients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading clinics and providing specialist care and advice
• Testing eyes using the latest technology while maintaining high patient care standards
• Delivering enhanced services based on store needs
• Responding to emergency triages
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
• Supporting team members clinically on the shop floor
• Providing expert advice to patients
• Staying updated with current clinical practices
• Working closely with senior stakeholders

What you’ll need

The essential skills and experience required:

• GOC registration (or expected within 6 months)
• Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
• A drive to deliver excellent patient care
• Strong communication and organizational skills
