About Us

UWE Bristol Optometry is looking for optometrists keen to support our final year optometry undergraduates as they complete their university-based clinical training in our state-of-the-art patient-facing clinical facility, UWE Bristol Eye Clinic. UWE Bristol Optometry students gain real-life clinical experience in various eye care clinics at UWE Bristol Eye Clinic, including primary eye care, contact lenses, paediatrics, binocular vision, and low vision, benefiting from the input of enthusiastic optometrists with contemporary experience in these areas.

About You

You are an optometrist who enjoys developing the clinical skills of others and is excited about making a difference to the next generation of eye care professionals. You want to support UWE Bristol Optometry students and enhance your own skills in clinical supervision and guidance. Your insights and experience of current optometry practice will benefit students as they complete their undergraduate training.
