About the opportunity.

A very exciting role where you will lead the day-to-day activities of the store. Reporting to the Store Manager – Hub, you will support the team to provide the best in-store customer experience at Boots Opticians, from start to finish of the customer journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the in-store team to deliver a culture of exceptional care for colleagues and customers, with the customers at the heart of decision-making
• Driving the team to implement the Hub's local plans for Enhanced Services
• Proactively managing clinics daily to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Maintaining Clinical and Health and Safety standards in store daily
• Supporting the Store Manager – Hub in delivering high retail standards, including daily shop floor walks, maintaining a clean and well-presented store and clinical areas, and ensuring colleagues perform at their best
• Supporting the development of the Optical Consultant team
• Handling keyholder responsibilities, ensuring operational procedures are followed

About you.

You should have leadership experience and be respected by peers, customers, the Store Manager – Hub, and Area Manager. Key capabilities include:

• Ability to train and guide store colleagues
• Motivational skills and excellent communication in both 1:1 and group settings
• Full training will be provided
• Creating a positive store culture with a delivery-focused mindset, being a great listener, and understanding the store's pulse
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development
