Job summary

ASDA is seeking an Optical Manager in Huyton to lead a busy optician department. You will supervise Optometrists and Optical assistants, ensuring top-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

You will drive compliance, manage targets, coach staff, and organise workflows in a fast-paced environment while delivering an excellent customer experience across the Asda Optical network.

Qualifications

• Be a fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
• On track to meet CPD points requirement.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced optics environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the optical team (Optometrists and Optical assistants).
• Oversee compliance processes and procedures.
• Review sales forecasting and department targets; handle customer queries.
• Lead clinic management and shop-floor processes to meet customer needs.
• Coach and develop the team, organize time effectively.
