Job summary

ASDA is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our Adel optician's department. You will oversee the full operation, coach a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, and ensure compliance and customer service excellence daily.

You will drive department targets, manage clinic processes, and collaborate with Home Office support to deliver consistent patient care and value to customers across our network.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
• On track to meet CPD points requirement.
• Confident in coaching others.
• Able to provide excellent customer and patient care.
• Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets.
• Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environment.
• Organised and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire Optical operation.
• Lead and develop a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants.
• Ensure compliance processes and procedures are followed.
• Review sales forecasting and department targets; address customer queries.
• Manage clinic operations and shop floor to meet customer needs.
