Job summary

Inspired Recruitment Group near Slough is seeking an Optical Assistant or Dispensing Optician to join its small, family-run practice.

You’ll work across dispensing frames and lenses, take measurements, fit frames, and support patients throughout their journey within a predominantly private, high-quality dispensing environment.

The role offers a friendly team, 9am-5pm hours, Saturdays optional, 20 days holiday, and the chance to develop with a welcoming independent practice.

Qualifications

• Confident dispenser with good IT skills.
• Experience in optical dispensing preferable.
• Able to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Confidently dispensing frames and lenses.
• Taking accurate measurements and supporting the dispensing process.
• Frame fitting, adjustments and aftercare.
• Supporting patients throughout their journey.
• Assisting with 3D visual field examinations.
• Working confidently with online and computer-based systems.
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day running of the practice.
