Specsavers in Stafford is seeking an Optical Assistant to warmly welcome customers and support our team on the shop floor. You will gain valuable optical experience while working with experienced Opticians and Technicians, with extensive training and development opportunities available across the business.

The role offers full or part-time hours with weekend working as essential, and a focus on customer service, IT proficiency, and adaptability in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Some previous optical experience required.
• Be passionate and a great team worker.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
• Confident in using IT systems.
• Able to adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they walk through the store.
• Support Optical Lead, Opticians and Technicians on the shop floor.
• Utilise IT systems to process transactions and manage store operations.
• Engage in training and development opportunities offered by Specsavers.
