Job summary

Specsavers in Sheffield is seeking an Optical Assistant to welcome customers, assist with product choices, and support the team in delivering excellent service. You will be part of a friendly store environment with access to professional training and development across different business areas.

We value applicants with experience in optical or audiology settings and a customer‑minded approach. The role includes full-time hours, weekends, and benefits such as pension and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Support customers with product choices and services in optics and audiology.
• Collaborate with Opticians and Technicians to guide customers through their journey.
