Job summary

Specsavers in Northallerton is hiring an Optical Assistant to welcome customers and support a busy store. You will work closely with experienced Opticians and Technicians, receive thorough training and clear development paths across optics and audiology.

A friendly, customer-focused attitude is key, with weekend work as required. The role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week), a salary of £12.75–£13 per hour depending on experience, and access to Specsavers Perks and holiday entitlement of 28

Qualifications

Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
Experience in optics or Audiology business
Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.
