Job summary

Specsavers Barkingside is looking for an Optical Assistant with a proactive, people-oriented approach to be the friendly face in-store. If you’ve worked as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, you could be a great fit for this role that blends customer service with optical expertise.

The role offers a starting salary of £27k, with a 40-hour week including weekend work, a store bonus, and access to Specsavers perks and wellbeing supports. Auto-enrolment into the pension scheme is included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

What we’re looking for?

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant. These include:

• At least 3 months experince working in a opticians.

This includes:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Experience in optics or Audiology business
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.
