Job summary

Specsavers in Selby is seeking an Optical Assistant to welcome and assist customers with warmth and professionalism. You’ll have access to training and development, with support from experienced Opticians and Technicians to help you grow your career.

The role is full time (37.5 hours) and includes weekend work, with benefits such as Friends and Family discounts and enhanced sick pay. Prior optical experience is preferred but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists customers in-store.
• Provides support and professional development within Specsavers.
• Works with Opticians and Technicians to ensure good customer outcomes.
