Job summary

Specsavers in Forfar is seeking an Optical Assistant to be the friendly face in our store. You’ll use your customer service skills and passion for eyewear to help customers select products and services while supporting the team.

Based in our Forfar store, around 15 miles north of Dundee, you’ll work a full-time 40-hour week with regular weekend shifts, complete training, and enjoy benefits including holiday allowance and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant is a plus.
• Passion for Specsavers brand and excellent customer service.
• Great team player and communicator.
• Confident using IT systems in a store environment.
• Able to adapt to changing store needs.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming store environment for customers and the team.
• Assist customers with product information, services and eyewear choices.

Our Store

Based in our store in Forfar, around 15 miles north of Dundee with great road and public transport links.
