Job summary

Specsavers in Edinburgh is seeking an Optical Assistant to be the friendly face in-store. If you have optical experience as Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this role could be perfect for you.

You’ll use your customer service skills to support daily store operations, provide a welcoming environment, and help customers with products and services.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics working in a customer-facing retail store environment.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

So, you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our store needs? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. If you have current or previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you!

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our Store

Based at Unit 34, Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, Edinburgh, we offer free parking and are close to the bus links. As well as being a busy and vibrant store, and with a refit due this year, we're an exciting place to be!

What we’re looking for?
