Job summary

Specsavers Leckwith in Cardiff is hiring an Optical Assistant to join a busy, customer-focused team. The role offers full-time hours (38 per week), weekend shifts, and comprehensive training across store departments, backed by experienced optical staff.

The successful candidate will welcome customers, assist with eye tests bookings, pre-screenings, style guidance, frame measurements, and phone inquiries, with prior optical experience a requirement and a strong focus on customer care.

Located in the popular retail area of Leckwith, Cardiff, the Leckwith Specsavers store offers a busy and rewarding working environment with a strong focus on customer care and clinical excellence. The store benefits from excellent transport links, free parking, and a high volume of customer footfall, providing team members with the opportunity to develop their skills while working alongside experienced optical and audiology professionals.
