Job summary

Specsavers is seeking an Optical Assistant to warmly welcome customers, help them choose products, and deliver excellent in-store service. You will receive extensive training and development, supported by experienced Opticians and Technicians as you grow in your role.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours) with weekend work essential, and a range of benefits including a healthcare scheme, pension enrollment, and in-store bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Some previous optical experience or familiarity with optics terminology.
• Careful, hardworking and eager to learn within a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and team-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Work with experienced Opticians and Technicians to deliver service.
• Take part in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Support in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekend shifts.
