Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London is inviting applications for a Teaching Fellow role focused on educating undergraduate medical students, Foundation Doctors, GPs and MSc students across ophthalmology curricula. Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice.
• ST3 or equivalent (or higher) in training programme.
• MBBS (or equivalent).
• Evidence of formal and informal teaching experience.
• Experience in specialties related to Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Full management of patients attending hospital clinics / casualty departments.
• Attend specified clinics as established by Service / Training Director of their chosen service(s).
• Supervision of junior medical staff in the Service and participation in teaching.
• Undertake clinical research, audit and quality improvement projects.
• There are no surgical lists attached to this post, but relevant surgical experience may occur.
