A CCT Glaucoma Fellow is based at King’s College Hospital’s Queen Mary’s site, Denmark Hill. The role focuses on consolidating glaucoma experience with advanced surgical techniques and supervising trainees. The appointee will also undertake complex cataract surgery and participate in the Denmark Hill on-call rota and RAU sessions.

The tenure is 1 year; MRCOphth or equivalent is required, with GMC license. The post includes clinical audits, research participation, and teaching responsibilities

Formación

• Registerable medical qualification.
• MRCOphth or equivalent.
• Full GMC registration with License to Practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care for ophthalmology patients.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rota and weekly RAU sessions at Queen Mary's Hospital.
• Contribute to audits, research, and clinical governance programmes.
• Supervise junior trainees and assist in cataract and glaucoma surgeries.
• Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and teaching activities.
