Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Glasgow is recruiting a Registered Nurse to join the Eye Centre Team. This fixed-term 12-month post focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing ophthalmology assessment, treatment and surgery.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Adult Nurse with a First Level nursing degree, capable of prioritising competing demands, communicating clearly with patients and colleagues, and advocating for patient safety throughout

Qualifications

• Registered Adult Nurse with a First Level nursing degree.
• Ability to prioritise and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of nursing care to ophthalmology patients.
• Assist with assessment, treatment and perioperative care.
• Advocate for patients and ensure compassionate, safe care throughout their journey.
