Job summary

Circle Health Group in Glasgow is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the Ophthalmology department. The role is 30 hours per week with flexible shifts, offering a permanent, part-time position.

You will provide direct nursing care, assess patient needs, monitor vitals, and administer medications in line with care plans and NMC guidelines. Applicants must be an Adult Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration and have experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care and update care plans accordingly.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate changes using clinical judgement.
• Administer medications safely according to hospital policies and NMC Code.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation including assessments and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with NMC standards and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents and safeguarding concerns.
