Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Clydebank is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Eye Centre Team, delivering care to patients undergoing ophthalmic assessments, treatments and surgery.

The Eye Centre provides outpatient, theatre and pre/post-operative services; you will work in a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients, and maintain high standards of safety, dignity and compassionate care throughout the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with First Level nursing degree
• Demonstrates compassionate and patient-centered care
• Good communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ophthalmic patients during assessment, treatment and surgery
• Act as patient advocate to ensure safety, dignity and high-quality care
• Work within a multidisciplinary Eye Centre team to support ophthalmology services
