Job summary

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker in Ophthalmology at Royal Lancaster Infirmary for a full-time Band 3 role.

You will work in general and specialised ophthalmology clinics, receive in-house ophthalmic training and develop the competencies needed to provide high-quality patient care across the Trust. This post sits within a large, multi-site NHS foundation.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to undertake in house Ophthalmology training.
• Previous Ophthalmic training.

Responsibilities

• Care for ophthalmology patients in general and specialist clinics.
• Participate in in-house Ophthalmic Nursing training and development.
• Complete ophthalmic competencies required to work in the department.
