University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Clinical Support Worker for the Emergency Department at Royal Lancaster Infirmary in Lancaster. The role is Band 3 with a permanent contract, offering 37.5 hours per week across long days, weekends and night duties.

Applicants should be enthusiastic and caring; training will be provided. The ED also covers Minor Injury services and operates a shift system to suit service needs.

Formación

• Work as part of the ED team supporting RNs and ANPs.
• Basic patient care and documentation in records.
• Clinical observations during shifts.
• Minor injury treatments and plaster casts where appropriate.

Responsabilidades

• Work in support of and under the direction of a Registered Nurse and the Advanced Nurse Practitioners providing nursing care and assistance to patients within defined parameters.
• Provide basic patient care and document that care in the patient records.
