Responsibilities

• Outpatient services: support ophthalmic clinics and chaperone duties; conduct basic visual assessments, tests and imaging.
• Day case unit and emergency eye clinic: prepare patients for surgery and support safe discharge with a holistic approach.
• Act as advocate for patients and assist in delivering safe, personal care within ophthalmology.
• Participate in service improvements and attend relevant meetings.
