Job summary

Key duties include performing visual assessments, visual fields, and intra-ocular pressure measurements to inform clinical decisions, alongside contributing to research and audits and handling administrative tasks to keep the service

Qualifications

• Background knowledge of common eye disorders and eye related neurological conditions.
• Two A-Levels at grade C or above or NVQ Level 3 / equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• To provide visual assessments including visual fields, visual acuity, pentacam and intra-ocular pressure (IOP) measurement for clinical decisions.
• Participate in research and medical audit projects as required.
• Perform administrative and clerical tasks for service efficiency.
