Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in the United Kingdom is seeking staff to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional ophthalmic patient care. You will work with clinicians and optometrists for outpatient consultations and pre-assessments, supporting patients on surgery days and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

The role requires NVQ levels 2/3 or equivalent, prior healthcare experience, and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare environment or ophthalmic sector.
• Basic Life Support qualification or competence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality patient care throughout visits.
• Coordinate with clinical and patient services staff for smooth operating lists.
• Perform diagnostic testing and assist during pre- and post-operative care.
• Respond to patient enquiries with excellent service and refer to medical staff when needed.
