Job summary

SJK Healthcare Limited is looking for a competent Ophthalmology Scrub Nurse in Glasgow. In this role, you will assist in eye surgeries, sterilize instruments, and ensure patient safety during operations.

The ideal candidate will hold a nursing degree and have at least 12 months of NHS hospital experience as a scrub nurse, preferably in ophthalmology. You'll participate in the preparation of surgical environments, maintain aseptic techniques, and support the surgical team effectively.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license to practice.
• 12 months NHS (UK) hospital experience as a scrub nurse, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and operating theatre protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre for ophthalmic surgeries.
