We are inviting applicants for the post of Ophthalmic Imaging Technician to join our team at Oxford Eye Hospital. You will assist in delivering high-quality ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic services.
Working Environment: You will work in a friendly, modern environment, performing procedures including OCT, fundus photography, corneal topography, spectacle focimetry, visual field testing, visual acuity assessment, intraocular pressure testing, and pupil dilatation.
Qualifications and Skills: Applicants must have experience with Humphrey visual field (HVF) testing and/or ophthalmic imaging procedures. A basic understanding of human anatomy is required, along with a willingness to expand your knowledge. Candidates should be comfortable working with people, possess excellent communication skills, be computer literate, and familiar with database management. Preparation to undertake the Certificate of Higher Education in OCT Capture is expected.
Working Hours: The position is Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work included.
